Deal Locker, friends that help get deals

I’m recently evaluating Deal Locker. It’s a website very helpful for the online buyer.

The key of the website is to provide the visitor with a reasonable amount of online coupons - a.k.a. promos - for the most famous online stores. The buyer gets an easy way to save a few bucks off the purchase price.

The website is simple to be browsed, yet it has more than a few stores in the inventory of coupons.

A special mention deserves the section devoted to Amazon - the Amazon Promotional Codes. As maybe every online purchaser knows, Amazon is one of the biggest portals in the world. It just started as a book store, but time went by and now it has grown to be an online store that sells all kind of goods, from books (and ebooks), to music and a big variety of items.

Because Friend help Friends get deals

Among the features of DealLocker, they promote the use of a secret Amazon discount finder tool, which aims to make it easier for the customer to find a specific coupon code. It’s particularly simple to use - as the whole concept.

There at the tool, the user can choose a category. a specific country (where a coupon code may be active) and filter by the brand. Finally, the search results can be sorted by a list of criteria (price low to high and vice versa, bestselling, etc). The result set is shown on the Amazon Pages.

Another interesting feature of DealLocker is a special section dedicated to help the buyer to save on Amazon.com gift certificates, by showing a list of recent (and I verified if current) bids on eBay. The website even stated the reasons because it’s better to obtain the certificate through DealLocker rather than searching for them directly on eBay. Basically, DealLocker does the filtering of scam and recognizes positive, true offers that might be interesting for the potential purchaser of the Certificates.

Another interesting feature is the interaction that website promotes, very Web 2.0 stylish (even thr beta spot is present ). The user can choose a coupon to get a discount and can also register to put his/her own code not present in the database. It even has a blog, the link to which can be found at the blogroll of Wisepicker.
