Teknosis a weblog for the wise ones

By admin

Welcome to WisePicker, a blog dedicated to the advice on personal finance issues and online purchases. If you want to follow our new articles, please feel free to subscribe to our RSS feed. Many thanks for your visit

Teknosis is the piece of blogosphere that encloses what the inquiring minds want to know, a place to portrait news, opinions and fresh content that is original in the whole extent.

The author plots the stories in an interesting fashion, adding his personal insight to the analysis given. By the way, the author is a strong supporter of Ron Paul and it might be a delight for the supporters of Ron Paul’s campaign to read some articles very focused on the advantages of the proposals of the candidate.

One big advice - given the fact that it is the main purpose of this weblog : advising others - for the author is to put all the content generated into its own domain. I can no stress harder - than I currently do - how important it is to have one’s own domain.

Another thing is the layout of the weblog. I feel a non-so-healthy envy when I look at the general look and feel of Teknosis. I would love to have a sidebar - the left one, specially - so clean and neat. In the future, maybe.

The fight against terrorism continues from a weblog

By admin

Jihadi Du Jour is a weblog dedicated to the fight against terrorism, specifically the Islamic kind of terrorism. Though a bit controversial, the editor of this anti-Jihad weblog raises the concern on seemingly innocent activities that may occur to help the terrorism lay on the US and other Western countries.

Unfortunately, terrorism is the kind of human activity that has the potential to cause much damage in an uncontrolled way. Hundreds and even thousands of persons are the victims of terrorist attacks through the whole world, year after year.

Islamic terrorism has hold complete countries sunk in fear. Billions of dollars have been spent in the global fight against the spread of this disease. Many have died and pitifully, many more would die in the future.

Nevertheless, I would focus the fight not so much against the Islamic people in general as against the small sects that promote violence and disrespect for the other beliefs - Christians among them.

Bicycle Engines

By admin

When I was a kid, the bicycle was a must for everyone of my generation. I have to say that I still have a bicycle and I am proud of being able to ride it in a masterly fashion.

Sometimes, nevertheless I have thought of turning my old bicycle into a motorized bicycle and there are strong reasons that would support that decision. The first and most relevant is that I am not becoming younger exactly. And the second is that it might be comfortable to stop pedaling one of these days and just let my mind loose and enjoy the landscape.

Bicycle Engines can be purchased online

And that should be no news. Practically everything can be obtained through a website. In this case, Bicycle Engines provide the engines, devices, gears and toolkits needed to turn the old fashion devices into motorized bicycles.

On direct opposition to the popular belief, yes, it is possible and easy to assemble the bicycle engines. All you need is an engine kit (it comes for 2 and 4-strokes bicycles) and a bit of spare time. And the delivery is not a problem also.

I would recommend that the visitor checks the gallery. It is something eye rewarding and pleasant. At least for the generation who lived their childhood without video games and Internet.

Marketing, Creative Writing Blog

By admin

Following the series of weblogs that I find interesting, I invite you to browse the blog of Rommel Acebedo, that deals with Opinions, Thoughts, and Creative Writing. Yes, even though it might sound that it is difficult to cover such diverse topics, Rommel has the ability to reach the people with so diverse topics as the ones in How To Close a Sale and We have more than one North Pole.

The first article is about an extremely simple - minimalistic, and not shallow at all - and quite thoughtful piece of write work, and is about the 3 easiest to follow tips to seal-the-deal and close a sale.

On the second article, Rommel details how is it possible that the Earth - our dear, motherly planet - has more than one north pole. In fact, there is a magnetic pole, that changes periodically and according to the variations in the magnetic field of the planet.

I would recommend to read the weblog. Its readings are brief, dense and interesting and seem to be made for the reader who likes to follow brief content-full threads.

In the UK, compare loans, mortgages, rates and more financial issues

By admin

Money.co.uk is a British portal offering a wide variety of choices to obtain financial information. Targeted at the common users, I can barely think of another easier to browse resource online. In fact, it is highly organized in a much better fashion than usual and the correct use of graphic iconography gives it the plus of being a visually attractive website. Nice, in the whole sense of the word.

But, let us go a bit further deep into what matters apart from the visual issues: the quality and provision of the content exposed at the portal. At first, I must say that it is very ambitious to try to cover the whole range of services exposed through Money.co.uk.

Credit Cards

Related to Credit Cards, the portal offers a huge list of credit cards, coping with - i am almost sure - practically every card of the market. And the comparison is not dull at all - and i do not want to tamper the readers - as in some so-claimed financial information portals. It does contain a few columns with data that helps to organize and order the credit cards in a ranked fashion. Rate, Duration, Fees together with detailed information of every card makes it very simple for the visitor to come to a wise desiton. And if the user decides so, the process to apply is simplified by the appropriate link to the credit card website.

Loans

Car, Home, Student and Business Loans, Unsecured, Secured, Bad Credit Loans and Debt Consolidation Loans are featured and compared. Of course, the best known dealers of the market are enlisted at this section. And in case you are wondering, yes, there is a strong chance that you can apply online via a convenient link to the site of the lenders.

Mortgages

The section exposes a reasonable list of mortgage loaners. Features as the Offset, Fixed-Rates (if such were the case), Remortgage Option and Self Certification are offered to make it easy for the potential applicant to make a wise - informed - decision. And yes, you can apply from there.

Savings

Not only lending is in the interest of the financial information seeker, but also saving is. The best rates and the complete details of the companies, will allow the investor to obtain the best for his/her money. Well, you know now. You can apply online and from the very link offered by the portal.

More Resources

There are many other sections, but, the one dedicated to Insurance and the other of Banking is the material for another future post. I found something there that deserves to be explained in further detail.

Before I forget, there is an online newsletter that can subscribe upon to receive via email. It contains tips to make the best use of resources - my main aim, also - and it is worth the trouble to subscribe to.

Jopals and the personal weblog of a nice fellow

By admin

Personal weblogs are not something uncommon, all the opposite they do tend to become even more and more abundant. And among the bunches of blogs, it is quite hard to recognize one that can catch the interest.

Jopals is a blogger which runs a personal weblog, where he covers a lot of topics, but, he does it quite well. Over all, it looks interesting and the reading is easy. If I had to synthesize the features around the style of writing of Jopals, it would certainly be: easy and catchy.

"It’s nice to be important, but it is More Important to be Nice" - states Jopals at the banner of the weblog. And nice is one of the characteristics of the ideas exposed on the weblog.

Maybe, my only recommendation to Jopals is to make a quick investment and obtain a domain, maybe jopalsonline.com or the like. When the content generated has the quality, there is no reason to stay on a free hosted weblog service.

Blog with Resources of Adobe, personal reflection and cool stuff

By admin

Sid Apolinario is the owner of "I Am Sid", a wordpress hosted weblog, which at the first sight portraits the knowledge - and probably working experience - of the author in the use of Adobe products and some other good stuff for Adobe users and developers. As a matter of fact, Sid is the holder of a Professional Certification as a Macromedia Dreamweaver Developer.

But, "I am Sid" is not limited to exposing items related to Adobe, but it also cover some clever and thought-full good stuff. And not leaving apart the things of the heart, after all, we are all humans.

Maybe, apart from the information related to Adobe products - specifically, Macromedia - what I found the most appealing content is the human warmth that Sid translates into posts.

I know it is difficult to get along with a weblog centered into a niche and then combine the content with a share of our lives. It is hard to make the combination seem natural, but - being frank, honest - Sid’s weblog does have the "touch" to make the categories blend into a unique piece of content.

All in all, there is one thing I would suggest to change. In my humble opinion, the characters are too small and the CSS dark background and gray font is hard to follow. Maybe, just maybe, it would benefit a bit to add a picture of Sid, because after reading such a post as the one of his 25th birthday or In Love Again, the readers would like to know Sid.

Machinbidule, a fresh blog with smart points of view

By admin

In terms of blogs there are millions and the topics they cover can be so diverse that is difficult - sometimes - to recognize what a blog is about at the first glance. Sometimes, blogs are not exactly targeted into one specific topic, instead a blog can deal with many different subjects (and disciplines).

It is not always easy to write a blog which does not exploits the benefits of a niche, but it does not mean - in all of the cases - that the contents of the blog would not be interesting. In fact, there are weblogs like the one that I will proceed to talk about - machinbidule, pebam, prabin, prabinpebam - which deal with so amazingly different topics as the human relationships and product reviews.

Machinbidule is the weblog of Pritam Pebam, a Comp. Sci. student that is close to get the Bachelor in Science degree. He works with design and web development and his weblog seems - in my humble opinion - the straight reflex of an intellectually intense internal life.

Posts as Love is just another synonym for selfishness or Our Journey to Life are among the most interesting that I have read - maybe i am just becoming old - although i might not agree 100% with everything that Pritam states over there.

Anyway, it is an interesting material worth reading and I guess no one would be disappointed.

Unsecured Personal Loans at AFS

By admin

Unsecured Personal Loans are a nice solution for the modern entrepreneur that seeks to start his or her own business. Unsecured means there is no pledged collateral involved in the financial operation. In plain words, you do not put your assets into risk.

As Accommodative Financial Solutions - a provider of Unsecured Personal Loans among other unsecured financial operations - states, it is a kind of reward for the years of clean, neat credit history.

accomodative-financial-solutions

One interesting feature of AFS is the pre-application term: only about 30 seconds. And if one considers that the timeframe for a 10K-100K loan operation approval is between the range of 1 to 2 days, it is reasonably fast to obtain a loan through AFS.

The offer of financial products is not limited to Personal Loans. In fact, credit lines - even unsecured credit lines - and business loans are among the products portrayed through the company’s portal.

If you are interested in starting a new business, I would recommend to check AFS site to see the benefits for yourself and make your decision.

Reviewing Dauphine Press Store

By admin

Dauphine Press Store is an online portal of Custom Letterpress Invitations an Letterpress Stationery. Based in Petaluma, California, Dauphine Press is very well known for its classic and stylish custom letterpress designs.

The company provides not only the basic designs that most of the sites do. They are real designers of letterpress printing artwork and there is a process before obtaining the final product which counts on uniqueness as an outstanding feature.

The process is something that catches the attention at the first glance. It takes 4 steps to get the final product. All along the whole process, the customer keeps a close contact with the designers, even since the very beginning. It is up to the customer to choose the layout, fonts, colors to start with.

Dauphine-Press

Another interesting feature is the price calculator, by means of which the visitor can get a fast quote of approximately how much would it cost the birthday invitations or baby announcements. Of course, it depends on the type of card, the dimensions, the price category range and the quantity that would be ordered. In terms of letterpress works, the higher the quantity ordered, the lower the price per unit.

Finally, there are interesting options and some promotions all over the website. The general feeling that it inspires is that of professional craftsmen aimed to produce fine pieces of artwork.
